In 2008, one of Åke’s wife’s friends gave him a great tip: Octapharma was looking for a technician in electricity and control systems. This happens to be Åke’s professional field and he applied for the job.

Åke has worked for Octapharma for the past 11 years. Together with his team, he is responsible for ensuring that technology and control systems work properly at the site. Their responsibilities also include the electricity supply for the factory.

Almost every weekend Åke and his family head out to their newly bought house in the country. He has devoted himself to renovating it nicely and they go there as often as possible.
